On completion of the interview process, IBPS will declare the result of Common Interview, which can be viewed on the IBPS website. IBPS will also make available on its website a notification giving the indicative post-wise and categorywise vacancies in Participating Banks. Candidates shortlisted in both CWE and interview are advised to log on to IBPS website at www.ibps.in, click on the appropriate link, enter their Registration Number and Password and register their order of preference for the Participating Banks. This is the only valid means of indicating preferences for Participating Banks and no other means will be accepted.

Depending on the available vacancies, candidates shortlisted for registering preferences will be allotted to one of the Participating Banks in order of merit cum preference or otherwise, keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. A candidate belonging to reserved category who is selected on the basis of norms as applicable to General category will be treated at par with a General category candidate for drawing up the merit list. Such a candidate will not be adjusted against a reserved post. However his/her allotment to an Bank would be done by treating him/her as if he/she has qualified as a reserved category candidate.

Candidates are advised to please note:
(i) Candidates who are issued an offer by a participating bank must necessarily provide all the relevant
documents, in original, in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the online application form for CWE SPL-II. In case it is detected at any stage of the recruitment process that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
(ii) Merely indicating preference for Participating Organisations does not constitute an offer of appointment from IBPS/ Participating banks
(iii) Any request for change in allotment will not be entertained.
(iv) A candidate who is shortlisted for giving preferences in interview will forfeit his/her candidature/ chance for the process if he/she
                        (1) does not exercise the option of indicating preferences through the prescribed process
                        (2) if allotted does not avail the offer of appointment from the Participating organisation.
The decision of IBPS in allotment of successful candidates to a Participating Organisation shall be final and binding upon the selected candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel, re-allot candidates to Banks depending upon exigencies or otherwise. Offer of appointment is solely the decision of the Participating Banks and shall be final and binding. IBPS has no role here.

Please note that the eligibility criteria specified in our above referred advertisement published in Employment News are the basic criteria for applying for the post. Candidates must necessarily produce the relevant documents in original and a photocopy in support of their identity and eligibility pertaining to category, nationality, age, educational qualifications, experience, qualifying marks, etc. Please note that no change of category will be permitted. Merely applying for CWE/ appearing for and being shortlisted in the examination and/or in the subsequent interview/ registration of preferences for Participating organisations does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be offered employment in any of the Participating Organisations.
