Notification regarding CWE PO-II and Clerks-II Second Round of Allotment

Dear candidates,
IBPS published a notification regarding CWE PO-II and Clerks-II second round 
allotment.
 
COMMON RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR POs/MTs–II & CLERK-II  
Queries received on publication of waitlist, further allotment, etc.In this connection,
 it is informed as under:

(1) Further process of allotment is based upon resultant vacancies to be furnished by the Banks/participating banks.

(2)Since the Banks are busy with recruitment of candidates allotted under 1st
round, it may take some more time to furnish resultant vacancies both for POs and Clerks.

(3) While IBPS will endeavour to expedite the process, no reply on further allotment may be possible before 30.09.2013. However IBPS Website may be viewed from time to time.

(4) This however does not give any guarantee for further allotment.

NOTIFICATION REGARDING RECRUITMENT OF SPECIALIST OFFICERS-II IN PARTICIPATING BANKS

Further to the Notification dated 02.05.2013 released by IBPS regarding common process for recruitment of Specialist Cadre posts(CWE-SPL-II)in Participating Banks, the schedule of subsequent activities with modifications wherever applicable is given below

Candidates can download the combined result of CWE and Interview from the IBPS website preferably after 14.06.2013. Candidates shortlisted after CWE and interview are advised to log on to IBPS website at www.ibps.in ,click on the appropriate link, enter their Registration Number and Password and register their order of preference for the Participating banks.This is the only valid means of indicating preferences for Participating Banks and no other means will be accepted. Repeat-No other means will be accepted.
Depending on the available postwise and categorywise tentative vacancies * (furnished in Annexure I of this advertisement) a successful candidate will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations in order of merit cum preference or otherwise keeping in view thespirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc
A candidate belonging to reserved category who is selected on the basis of norms as applicable to General category will be treated at par with a General category candidate for drawing up the merit list. Such a candidate will not be adjusted against reserved post. However his/her provisional allotment to an Bank would be done by treating him/her as if he/she has qualified as a reserved category candidate.
Candidates are advised to please note:
(i) Candidates who are issued an offer by a participating bank must necessarily provide all the relevant documents, in original, in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the online application form for CWE SPL -II.
In case it is detected at any stage of the recruitment process that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled.
(ii) Merely indicating preference for Participating Banks does not constitute an offer of appointment from IBPS/ Participating organizations
(iii) Any request for change in allotment will not be entertained.
(iv) A candidate who is shortlisted for giving preferences will forfeit his/her candidature/ chance for the process if he/she 
       (1)does not exercise the option of indicating preferences through the prescribed process (2) if allotted does not avail the offer of appointment from the Participating bank.
The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment of candidates to a Participating Banks shall be final and binding upon the candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel, re-allot candidates to Banks
depending upon exigencies or otherwise. Offer of appointment is solely the decision of the Participating bank and shall be final and binding. IBPS has no role here.

Recruitment to the post of Officers in Gr ‘B’ (General)-DR

Applications are invited for the post mentioned below in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/Bank) from Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.

Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post. The Reserve Bank of India Services Board, hereinafter referred to as 'Board', would admit to the Examinations all the candidates applying for this post with the requisite fee (wherever applicable) on the basis of the information furnished in the ON-LINE application and shall determine their eligibility only at the final stage i.e. interview stage. If at that stage, it is found that any information furnished in the ON-LINE application is false/ incorrect or if according to the Board, the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and he will not be allowed to appear for interview.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

(a) Age (as on 01/06/2013): Between 21 and 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/06/1983 and not later than 01/06/1992). For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 31 and 33 years respectively. For candidates having experience as an officer in Commercial Bank/Financial Institution in Public Sector, upper age limit is relaxed to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For such candidates, upper age limit should not exceed 33 years including experience. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned. Refer item 5 below for relaxation in upper age limit for specified categories.

(b) Educational Qualifications (as on 01/06/2013): i) A First Class Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years ; OR ii) A Second Class Master's Degree with minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years; OR iii) A Doctorate Degree; with minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years in Master's Degree; OR iv) Chartered/Cost Accountant/Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree; OR v) A Post Graduate Diploma in Management / MBA qualification from institutions recognized by Government of India / University Grants Commission, with Graduation / Bachelor's Degree.
NOTE: (1) SC/ST/PWD candidates having second class with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters / years in Bachelor's Degree examination : OR having a Post-graduate Degree or equivalent recognized qualification, are eligible to apply.

(2) Some Universities/Institutes do not award Class or percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the same will be accepted. However, where the University/ Institute does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the undefined parameter(s) would be worked out as under:

Scheme of Selection: Selection will be through Examinations and Interview. Examinations will be held in two phases [Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type) and Phase-II Written Examination (Descriptive type)] as under:
(I) Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type): The Paper consists tests of
 i) General Awareness
ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude
iv) Reasoning.
This Paper approximately of 3 hours duration for 200 marks

II) Phase-II Written Examination(Descriptive Type): The Phase-II Written examination (WE) will be conducted in October/ November 2013 (tentative) only for those candidates who are shortlisted for the same. The date and time-table will be intimated to the candidates concerned at the appropriate time. The Examination will consist of three Descriptive Type papers –
(i) Paper I – English 
(ii) Paper II – Economic and Social Issues
 (iii) Paper III – Finance and Management.
Each of these papers is of 3 hours duration carrying 100 marks.

Number of attempts: Candidates belonging to unreserved i.e General Category, who had already appeared four times for 'WE' for this post in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD, if the posts are reserved for them.

Eligibility criteria

(a)Age (as on 01-05-2013):

Between 18 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/05/1985 and not later than 01/05/1995 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.


(b) Educational Qualifications (as on 01-05-2013):
i) At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
ii) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
iii) Candidates applying for post in a particular state should be proficient in the language of the state i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language.

i) The above tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

ii) A candidate has to qualify in each part of the Objective test separately. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

iii) Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the call letter for examination from the RBI’s website.
iv) Roll No. of the candidates successful in online examination will be available on RBI’s website and a brief notice thereof will be published in leading newspapers around end of August 2013.
v) Only such number of candidates will be called for interview who stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective Tests, such merit being decided by the Bank in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in.
vi) Final selection will be on the basis of candidate's performance in the written examination and interview taken together in order of merit.

Application Fee ` 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) are to be paid by OBC and General category candidates. Fees once paid will neither be refunded nor be adjusted against any future recruitment projects.
