SBI PO:Change of Venues at Dehradun & Haldwani Centre Due to Nagar Nikaya Elections

Due to Nagar Nikaya Elections at Dehradun and Haldwani centres, the venue for the above examination for candidates appearing from these centres has been changed. Candidates have been informed by way of SMS and email to download revised call letter indicating revised venue for the examination. IBPS CLERK CWE-II:Register the Preferences of Participating Banks

Important Note

• Registration of preferences will be complete only after the candidates register online on IBPS website www.ibps.in and click on submit. No change will be permitted thereafter.


• Since recruitment in clerical cadre is done on State/UT-wise basis:
    (i)  candidates can indicate preferences for Participating organisations for vacancies ONLY in one State/ UT for which they have applied.
    (ii) In case any additional vacancies arise in a State/UT within the validity of the result of          CWE Clerks-II, subsequent allotment will be done based on merit cum preference of the          candidate. Thus Candidates have to necessarily indicate preferences for all          Participating Organisations even if vacancies in a State have not been notified for all Participating organisations/categories.

• Allotment will be done State/ UT wise depending on the categorywise number of vacancies notified keeping in mind the spirit of various Govt. Guidelines, administrative exigencies etc.


• IBPS reserves the right to cancel, reallot Bankwise allocation depending upon exigencies or otherwise.


• The decision of IBPS in allotment of Banks shall be final and binding upon the selected candidates.

Detailed vacancies for IBPS CWE Clerk-II Recruitment 2013

Further to the Notification dated 01-Mar-2013 released by IBPS regarding common process for recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees in Participating Organisations, the schedule of subsequent activities is given below:

Candidates can download the combined result of CWE and Interview from the IBPS website in the second week of April 2013.Candidates successful in both CWE and interview are advised to log on to IBPS website at www.ibps.in, click on the appropriate link, enter their Registration Number and Password and register their order of preference for all the Participating banks. This is the only valid means of indicating preferences for Participating Banks and no other means will be accepted.

Depending on the statewide vacancies a successful candidate will be allotted to one of the Participating Bankss in order of merit cum preference.

Communication regarding allotment will be sent to candidates to the details specified by the candidate in the online application form while registering for CWE CLERK-II. However candidates are also advised to regularly visit the IBPS website for updates.

Vacancies remaining unfilled on account of candidates declining an offer/ additional vacancies in any Participating organisation, will be filled from among the remaining candidates, through subsequent iterations.

Please note: 

(i) candidates who are issued an offer by a participating bank must necessarily provide all the relevant documents in original in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the online application form for CWE CLRK-II. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. 

(ii) Merely indicating preference for Participating banks does not constitute offer of appointment from IBPS/ Participating banks.

(iii) Any request for change in allotment will not be entertained. 

(iv) A candidate who is successful in interview will forfeit his/her candidature/ chance for the process if he/she does not (1) exercise the option of indicating preferences through the prescribed process (2) avail the offer of appointment from the Participating organisation.
